Bacta — is a specialised self-exclusion service aimed at problem players of land-based adult gaming centres (AGCs) in the UK and operates directly through the operators of these venues, helping players take a break and regain control over their gambling behaviour through their joining Bacta program.

The key feature of Bacta is that it is administered by the trade association of the British amusement machine and entertainment industry, providing a direct link with AGC operators in implementing self-exclusions.

Bacta offers problem gamblers the option to voluntarily exclude themselves from all AGCs for a period of 6 to 12 months of their choice. To reinforce the self-exclusion, the player must provide their photograph so that staff can identify them if they attempt to visit an AGC. At the end of the chosen self-exclusion period, it is automatically extended for another 6 months unless the player requests reinstatement of access. In addition to the self-exclusion process from AGCs, the Bacta program also advises players on other existing exclusion schemes for casinos, bookmakers, bingo halls, and online gambling.

Bacta Self Exclusion Login

If you want to self-exclude from gambling venues, you need to create an account in the Bacta Self-Exclusion Services system. However, you cannot self-register in this system. Instead, you need to contact the administrator or supervisor of the gambling venue where you want to self-exclude or call the phone number provided above.

Provide the administrator with the following information:

  • Full name
  • DOB
  • Residential address
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Your photograph
  • Written consent for self-exclusion

The administrator will use this data to create an account in the Bacta system on your behalf.

After the account is created, you will be provided with a login (usually your email) and a temporary password to access the system. Upon your first login, you will be prompted to change the temporary password to a permanent one for security purposes.

After this, you can use your account to manage the self-exclusion process through the online portal. Be careful when entering your personal information to ensure the system works effectively.

Bacta Self Exclusion Portal

The Bacta Portal is an online platform developed by the British Amusement Catering Trade Association (Bacta). It provides gambling companies and their clients with a range of useful features and tools.

The main features of the Bacta Portal include:

  1. Electronic registration of interactions with clients.
  2. Self-exclusion section for clients.
  3. Training modules and guides on regulatory compliance.
  4. Compatibility with mobile devices, PCs, and tablets.
  5. Tools for business operations of gambling companies.
  6. Tracking of self-exclusion periods.
  7. Age verification tool for players.
  8. The educational content on responsible gambling.

One of the key features of the portal is the Self-Exclusion section. It allows clients to voluntarily exclude themselves from gambling for a specific period. Gambling venues receive instant notifications about new self-exclusions and can check the centralised database to prevent excluded clients from entering.
